Celebration Assembly

Wow!


Years 3 and 4 have just had their celebration assembly. I'm sure those of you who were there will agree that it was absolutely brilliant!


Over half-term, I'll be putting up a video of a whole affair for families who weren't able to make it or those who would just like to relive it! Please visit back here or on our YouTube or Facebook pages to see it.


In the meanwhile, here are some of the children's comments of what they were most proud of in the assembly:


Joseph - "I was most proud of, because at the beginning I was nervous and I didn't really want to do it, I just let out all the actions and spoke with expression."


Taylor - "I was most proud of, I was really nervous and then I kept on doing the actions."


Lauren - "I was most proud of taking part in George and the Dragon because there were people talking around me and I just felt like I anted to talk but I didn't!"


Lewis - "I was quite terrified that I was going to do in front of a whole crowd but I wasn't nervous and I did it!"


Josh - "At the beginning, I didn't exactly want to do it but then people were talking and doing things and then I was like 'maybe I should join in because my mum would be proud of me and I might do something to make her proud' and if I didn't do it, my mum would be upset. So I'm proud that I joined in and made my mum proud too."


Georgina B - "I was a little bit nervous at first, because I couldn't see my mum. Then she came in and she had a really, really, really big smile on her face when she heard my name being called out when I did the Myths and Legends with Becky. I was really proud."


Georgina O - "I'm proud that I joined in with the assembly."


and last but not least...


Rhys - "I'm really proud because at the start I was really nervous and when I spoke I just looked at mum and I thought no-one was there and I let everything go out of my mouth!"


What a lovely morning we've all had and a big thank you to you all for sharing it with us.
